what?

i love the album, but jeez, every once in a while you have to deal with some negativity. if some people don’t like it, deal.

some people are ridiculous

the point is, feel free to express your hate on your blog, but…

what is an “actual” post? pictures? manips? gifs?

jfc.

well most people consider an ‘actual’ post to be something which isn’t either hate or spam.

and by most people you mean fangirls who don’t care about people giving out constructive criticism. hm. i hate when people just say I FUCKING HATE IT IT SUCKS without saying why, but the ~hate i’ve seen here is actually people being elaborate on why they don’t like the album.

did anyone else notice that the person who made the original post is a 16 year old girl with flashy muse images as her blog background? Yeah, i bet she thinks she’s Muse’s #1 fan and everything they make is automatically ”like, soooo awesome!”

The 2nd Law album leak

Honestly, I tried to like what Muse have done, but I can’t.

Some songs sound so ridiculous I wanted to laugh.

Chris Wolstenholme saves the whole thing with a song that actually has depth, meaning and a good use of instruments. Not to mention lyrics that aren’t shitty.

Go Chris!

Boooo Matt.

I’m getting too old for this website.

highendfrequency:

All the horny fangirling is finally starting to irritate me. When everyone focuses more on how hot they think Matt, Dom, and Chris are than on any aspect of Muse’s music, it’s too much. I think that makes up about 75% of Muse-related posts. Ugh. You can find them as attractive as you want, but jesus, keep the hormones in check once in a while.

How about we talk about aspects of their music and music videos that don’t pertain to how hot you think they are? That’d be a nice change.

This man.

Madness by Muse

Everyone has a different opinion of this, I personally quite like it. It will never be their best song, and obviously it’s not the quirky rock sound that we all fell in love with. I am by no means interested in electronic or dub-step music of today, but if it’s going to stick around, this is the way it should be.

I think most people are instantly put off by that electronic, dub-step-esque intro; it will definitely shock your ears the first time you hear it if you’re a Muse fan. The lyrics are unusually simplistic for Matt Bellamy.

But you know what, the subject is quite sweet, and the music itself is quite “tame”. It’s soft, kind of catchy, it has a pretty cool guitar solo (not the most technical but still sounds good) - and that build-up towards the end sounds like a great U2 track that was never written.

It’s not the best piece of music out there today, and it’s not Muse’s “finest moment”. But it’s sure not the worst, either.

NO.
JUST NO.
i hate this kind of shit. no, not all Musers like Belldom. End of

Just want to add to this: “You accept Matt & Kate’s relationship” ..excuse me? I forgot being a fan of Matt’s band gives us the right to comment on who he sleeps with.
